Fort Purbrook ARC
Mike suffered a fire at his QTH several months ago, resulting in the requirement for a total shack rebuild. Once the room had been stripped and redecorated, a new bench was built along the full length of one wall, with the proposed shack at one end and a workshop area at the other.
All antenna feeders (just a couple remaining) are contained within 50mm square trunking. The worktop is covered in self-adhesive heavy-duty vinyl floor tiles, finished off with a mahogany trim.
Now with carpet fitted and the equipment laid out in white contiboard modules, it's coming together nicely and Mike's really pleased. Maps and certificates and some shelving still to go up.
Thanks to all those involved in helping Mike get back on the air.
