Good evening,

It was a pleasure to work your Special Event Call sign GB1VE earlier this afternoon. I had a very enjoyable QSO with Alistair and wanted to thank you and your club for hosting this very special event.

Thank you to Alastair for the contact on the special event station GB1VE May 9 7:30P Atlantic time broadcasting on 14.1250. You are my 1st HF contact on my 1st HF station. Contact made with 50 or so watts (I just noticed my RF power was only at 50%) on a homebrew 20/40m dipole.

As a regular on the Portsmouth Net I was pleased to read about Joe G3CNO. Well done on your new website.

Super site, well done, especially like the bit about G3CNO, as I use the Portsmouth net most mornings, on 7.117 that was started by Joe, it would be nice if one day you could call in using the call G3CNO on phone!
Best 73 Dave
